The dreamwort’s what made the magical system of /vnug/ possible in the first place, although in hindsight putting it there kinda revealed my intention of using dreamwort to achieve it rather than having it develop organically. Maybe I’ll see if I can tidy it up once the dream girl’s part’s out since her people would probably have their own way of magic
As for jumping bitterbugs it’s possible since I intended them to be somewhat diverse to accommodate different situations like this, but I don’t know if a flying bitterbug could become a jumping one simply because it got too heavy to fly since their legs would still be relatively undeveloped. Maybe Tosklo did her reps before and chose a jumping type bitterbug as hunting partner precisely because Mori-type chuubanite would ground flying bitterbugs in the long run? Another thought’s that also having the bitterbug also climb on trees to ambush the target although I think that might overlap too much with how Tosklo fights
