That said, I've tended to think of /awat/ as being surprisingly low in population, with most younger teamates tending to migrate to other countries. That would imply an older, more traditionalist population and culture, with a large teamate diaspora that has a somewhat different culture.
I think it's appropriate to reflect the state of the actual thread. Most teamates are in /hlgg/, not /awat/. I don't know how true this is for other HoloEN fanbases, but I always found it striking how many teamate ritualposts and memes only show up in /hlgg/ and not /awat/ (and vice versa).Like
>>77455877 says, Ame loves nature and romanticizes the farmstead life but she also loves tech and railways, so the idealized teamate life would include both. Maybe there'd be a cultural tension between the desire to industrialize and the desire for ecological conservation.
Any larger cities with a more modern culture would probably be on the coastline, by rivers, or both, just like IRL. IMO, the little island in the middle (pic related, labeled with a red star) is a good place for the capital city since it's a central location with easy access to water, and it's reminiscent of where Ame built her minecraft house.
