>>96145465What I'm using is a mix of methods box modelling and polygonal/extrusion modelling. I extruded shaped the basic outline of Dizzy's head and face using her reference sheet. After that I applied a subsurface modifier, modeled the major features like the mouth, then filled in the rest of the mesh. That got me the basic head shape. Nu-Dizzy's hair is a very unique and extremely annoying thing to model. Without a proper side reference
seriously almost now artfags have drawn Nu-Dizzy from a side angle with model accurate hair I'm effectively guessing for a lot of it. To make matters worse her hair is extremely complex compared to a lot of other models which can be easily split into basic shapes. As it stands I'm looking into a mix of polygonal modelling for the bangs and using curves to create the basic shapes of the more complex parts of her hair. I've yet to find any success unfortunately.
I'd highly recommend checking out these VODS. For the face and head it's almost exactly the workflow I used.

I may not like Hoyoslop but their 3D models are extremely well done and considering I'd like to use the Nu-Dizzy model for animation I've been looking to them for some inspiration.
Okay autistic autistic rant done.
