- for accounts that you dont follow, that pop up in your feed, but you dont want their content. use the block profile, the mute profile (i mostly use this), or the "not interested in this post".
- as good as the social media algos may be, they start falling off when it recommends content that other people who watch, let's say, the same vtuber creeps into your feed rather than similar to what you already consume. actively training your algo is more effective than just liking stuff or scrolling past spam
- if you really want to curate your account further, start using alts for specific type of content and ONLY that in each profile. i have a vtuber-only account on yt and never get anything outside of that.
in yt you can create a new channel under the same google account and it will treat them separately, you dont actually have to make a second google email. as for twitter, yeah you'll need dummy emails but it's easy to maintain and you can use them for more unimportant and trivial sites; the good thing of twitter is that once you log in in a device, you can simply switch between accounts with two clicks, no relog in needed
