Be it racism, sexism or the like. This is further exacerbated by mainstream social media (Instagram, YouTube, snapchat, ie) also bringing such topics to the forefront. From there you either succumb to the message given to you from society or you reject it and try and find answers elsewhere. That answer is usually given by communities of people (typically on the internet due to accessibility) who believe in the traditions of the past which provides roles and purpose for those who reject those of the modern era, traditions that have all but been forsaken in the eyes of modern society.
