>>55047029It makes me excited to hear that you're interested in libraries, they are so important and integral to our community and being able to provide so many folks with free resources and information is a delight. I've been a librarian for four and a half years now and it is so much work, but I love it so much. I love when people come in for really specific queries or books, like today a kid wanted some of our archived older books about steam trains because he'd become very interested in the various models from way back. I'm a short girl so I often get to scare older men who come in with difficult queries. I really vibe with Shiori in that sense and you can tell she really appreciates novels and fun knowledge.
I get excited when people come in for science and psychology books personally.... There's this amazing DK Astronomy one that's cum worthy, it's so beautiful and has millions of diagrams of stars and all sorts of cool facts. I work in England and libraries here are free!
