>>47750695I'm catching up myself. The weakest part by far is the whole murder mystery reincarnation bullshit. The story is at its best when its shedding light on real issues like the cyberbullying arc that was based off the real world incident where a member of a Japanese reality show killed herself because of overwhelming online harassment.
The main protagonist is himself a unicorn, or at least a bit of a purity faggot. In his previous life he was the idol's gynecologist who was not happy at first to find out she was expecting. Ultimately he decides that so long as his beloved idol is happy then so is he, which is a pretty mature response.
Her killer on the other hand is a unicorn brought to an extreme. He kills her because he found out she had kids, he thought that she didn't give a shit about her fans, and because Japan doesn't believe in therapy. The manga does not paint him in anything but a negative light as it should.
Ultimately, whether or not OnK is anti-unicorn is a YMMV situation. Sorry that this turned into a bit of a ramble so have another Polka.
