I feel like when Vei joined there weren't a bunch of newcomers to the group. Most people that watched Vei before she joined are pretty loyal to her (and most stucked with her), and most already knew all of the girls because Vei had a shitton of collabs with them, so most just got to know Vei through those collab rather that knowing VShojo from those Vei collabs.
