So gura's fanbase is huge, but they don't necessarily care about other hololive members. Hololive EN has the largest EN fanbase, but they likewise don't give a fuck about non-hololive EN vtubers. I would say vshojo fans likewise are fans of that specific niche, nijisanji fans are fans of nijisanji the brand etc. At a certain level you get people who just want to be on Big Team and don't care overly much about the livers or the content- this is why the numbers thread exists. The 'actual vtuber fanbase' would include most/all small corpos, and the people who are fans of specific livers to a slavish degree- the types who have their 3 year gura badge, the ride or die pomudati etc.
But most of Gura's fans are ultra-casuals so when gura comes back she gets like 45k viewers all at once because it's a big event, meanwhile fauna is sitting there with 10k CCV which is the 'actual holofan' ccv.
