So despite overwhelming evidence that western male fans are the kings of the market, NijiEN decides to throw those fans off a cliff and double, triple, quadruple down on getting asian women fans.
A couple reasons why this is stupid:
>Why would a female livestreamer tailor her appeal to women, which the males are already doing? She would be more effectively used tailoring to men instead.
>The main branch already targets asian women. The purpose of the EN branch is to target the EN market, not to scoop viewers from the main branch.
NijiEN gets the impression in their minds that male fans are just some tiny number that can be disrespected and scorned. But the exact opposite is the truth, they are the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of the market. They are just choosing not to watch NijiEN, because NijiEN is offpako heaven. This is why the actions of Enna when she burned the male fanbase with NTR stream was actually SO fucking destructive, it ruined whatever future the branch might have.
Now that the chinese audience is gone, the talents have to start thinking differently. You cannot just shirk the western males anymore and expect to be successful. Continuing as you were before is not a viable option. It's also a tremendous shame, because girls like Pomu legitimately could have been 5k-10k streamers, but now they will never be.
