I consider it the higher skill ceiling game because you can only pass backwards, the ball is heavier, requiring shorter passes, thus interception is inevitable most of the time resulting in heavier scrums. Rugby is a faster game, and variants like the Sevens feels like a different game entirely compared to rugby union. Also no armor so when scrums happen, your only protection is your trained physique
