Alibaba ranks their base model biased in between Seedream 3 and 4 so at worst, you're getting GPT-5 image output quality which is quite good.
The main thing that will really change is having an edit model like Nano Banana variant so you don't need to use a variety of tools like Controlnet and IP adapter to do things even though they might be better on paper.
