>>33018904There's a famous mangaka that was recently elected as a member of the upper house in Japan. His name is Ken Akamatsu (picrel). As far as I know, he advocated several policies in favor of mangaka, one of them being the protection of freedom of expression in manga and anime against "external pressure". It'll be interesting to see his view on this proposed law.
