There are two arguments that are mainly used when talked about how their detractors perceive VShojo: how things like clips make them seem like a group focused on sex humor, and how other vtubers aren’t so different from them. When you combine these arguments, you only make them look even worse in the eyes of those who disliked them, because you still make them seem as nothing but a group focused on sex humor
You also forget that Hololive has around 50 vtubers in the agency, so the content can be very different for every member, and I want to bet people in this thread are just here to shit on VShojo or shit on the shitters. Of course, VShojo has variety, it would be dishonest to compare Melody with Veibae or Nyanners with Froot, to give an example, but the group has a certain image attached to them which gets them branded as all having the same gimmick
Look, I’m not shitting on VShojo; I dislike them but I’m trying to be rational about it and explain why some people, not necessarily only /vt/, feel extreme apathy towards them
There’s one thing to accept: opinions about sex humor are subjective, so they vary for each person and where they establish their limits about it
