>>83444291I don't usually follow concert and con stuff but I still wanna ask: was this announced a little too late, at least relatively speaking? The announcement just felt last minute, especially with explaining how access worked which came even later. I feel like a lot of people right now can't suddenly whip out money for ANYC Admission + Concert Admission + other expenses that hurt more in New York compared to most other places. Especially as fans of a smaller corpor.
As for me personally, I'm just more a merch guy than a con guy when it comes to expressing my fandom for things. Don't see the reason to go to cons by my lonesome where I likely won't be doing much of anything aside from shuffling through crowds. That being said I do want to try going to the next Offkai and going all out for it, thanks in part for my love of Phase and feeling more at home with the vtuber community than the modern anime community. However, I can't be assed to go to New York outta the blue for a big general anime con that seems to have trouble running with it's growing scale. I like to think things will go relatively well considering the circumstances, but I feel Fishman got a little too excited seeing a chance to snag a stage at a bigger event.
