Almost every moderately big vtubers gets their share of antis on /vt/—seething sisters, trolls, unironic schizos, etc. The biggest difference between most of them and Mio is how easily she can be controlled by antis.
They just need to feed her cancerous brainworms that tell her things like "I didn't do enough", "I fucked up and he HATES me now", "I'm a talentless grifter and beerpals are just simps". Because Mio hates herself, she always feels they are more right than a hundred beerpals saying otherwise.
But a lot of chuubas are insecure (else they would be flesh streamers). Some are just better at keeping it to themselves. What really makes Mio such an easy target is that she's incredibly impulsive. Something went wrong or made her sad? Stream cancelled, cut, privated. Twitter meltdown. Sleep disrupted. Work delayed. Things go actually wrong. Antis get near instant gratification and get even more material. Repeat.
Ironically, a lot of great artists have this all out personality. I just wish Mio could better control it.
