>>78538125Alright VNAnon, here’s your review. There’s a lot to unpack, so this is gonna be a long one.
I guess I’ll start with the things I didn’t like too much to clear my head. This whole game has so much to do, which is great, but it felt like there wasn’t really a good conclusion to wrap everything up. I know you said these stories happen after I’ve reached the ending but there were some unresolved plot lines that I feel should have had some kind of resolution. Things like Anon’s depression and hidden dread of people leaving him that sometimes slips out, or a conclusion to his harem that resolves his feelings of guilt and puts people like Reimu and Nina who want to marry him at ease.
The largest one however is probably Rosemi’s daughter. I thought after finding Pomu and getting the seed out I’d see the true ending to my summer, but we left as Rosemi was stewing in indecisiveness about becoming a mother, then the summer ended, unresolved. It almost feels like you’re setting up for a sequel (I hope you are) with how many loose ends have yet to be tied up. Unless I AM missing a true ending.
And now for my biggest gripe with this game: Why the FUCK did you make Anon a manlet? If he’s already jacked and fucking 9+ girls why can’t he be tall, or ar least average height? How is Rosemi of all people taller than him? Rosemi! Now when he picks her up, or is just walking around, I’m imagining some tiny dwarf waddling around like some kind of pet next to all the girls. His height seems a little inconsistent at times too, because during the Zaion handjob, when she stands back up straight, it says she reaches his abdomen. That must mean she’s like… 3 feet tall, unless I read that wrong. In that same scene Anon also says he can only have sex with girls he loves, but he had no trouble busting a nut in the crazy tiger sluts, unless that was somehow love at first sight. Their introduction was hot, but that detail made it a little inconsistent.
Lastly, I think in terms of dialogue and characters, I preferred the original for the most part. The characters in the first game felt and acted more like the girls themselves and their “voices” felt more real. The girls in this sequel felt a little disconnected from reality, if that makes sense. It’s hard to explain but I guess they felt a little more flanderized than before. Maybe because they were just that horny.
Now, finally, the good stuff. When I first downloaded this game I had expected to only play the scenes of the girls I still liked and steer clear of the likes of Enna, Millie and Elira because… well, y’know. It’s hard not to think about what happened. But something about your writing just draws me in and before I knew it I was hunting down the last few achievements to complete them all. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through every interaction I came across and hardly found any dull moments, if there were any at all. It got to the point where I was neglecting Elden Ring to play this, which you know means this shit was good.
My favourites, which were rather surprising to me since I never watched either of them, were Reimu and Zaion. The random silences before cutting to sex with Reimu were funny, she was super sweet and charming and all her serious scenes (the fashion show especially) made me start to fall for a parody of a fictional character. Zaion was full of life and it really felt like all her scenes had a lot of effort put into them and she was super charming too. Every interaction with any of the girls had at least some good parts, but that sometimes made me kinda sad because of what happened to the real Nijisanji EN; particularly during the group interactions. It made me wish things had turned out differently. If nothing else, I started tuning into Reimu’s FNV streams after finishing the game. Her accent is hot.
It’s hard to point out good things because basically everything about this game is “good”. Name a single scene and I could talk about at the very least one thing I liked, but it’s more likely that I’d have a whole list. Those things I didn’t like earlier, as you may have noticed, were mostly nitpicks. The humour hit all the right spots, the serious moments were great in contrast, and all the sex was hot. It was fun, addictive and an overall improvement from the prequel with all the gameplay additions. The only thing I’d add is more applications for spending your money, like key items to unlock certain scenes, since I only used the dress up minigame here and there.
Well done on finishing this and kudos for making it such a fun game, you have my respect. I could play and read another 20 hours of this no problem.
