>>99826467 (2/2)>CaretakersBasically my role for /okfams/. I'm resposible to communicate with the thread like telling you about an event or an upcoming match. A caretaker is a thread's deputee who signs a team up and submits the necessary files (aestethics and music). If the thread doesn't want to change anything, you just check that everything is alright and fine with the rules and submit the previous stuff. After their hiatus /mogu/ came back but had to create colored kits because the organizer decided that team need an away kit to avoid color clashes on the pitch.
There are many helpful people around. If you're not able to do it on your own, you can ask for help. You just have to deliver the input then. This is mostly an issue for the 3d models. Music and wiki work is quite easy and just working with a text editor and browser.
>ManagersThat's easy: In addtion to the caretaker's work, Managers have permissions to manage the tactical parts of a team like choosing a formation and set the player's parameters so they play in the way you want them to play. vtl doesn't use live managing where you can send the streamer inputs to make changes on the tactics in the pause menu. vtl just has pastebins. It's basically a text file with instructions what to do before the match and at certain events during the match. "/okfams/ want to switch to P3" after a goal happened basically means that there was an instruction in the pastebin that at you want to change to a different tactical presets when a condition has met. You can also change just details like moving the defense line higher up or closer to your goal line. It can turn a match around.
>you decided to resignThat's a bit harsher than I'd say, but there's some truth to it at its core. I already manage a team of a Hololive gen. I do the divegrass stuff with passion but I noticed, it went to far with how much I did (on my own) and that's why I want to give an exciting short-but-long-standing team into the hands of someone else.
The vtl Academy is a learning event to spark interest in managing. I participated twice and now I'm a manager. I would participate again but it'll take place when I'm on vacation. And I cannot enter with both of my teams.
There are 9 teams signed up right now so it seems that it was decided to keep it open for a while longer because they have 12 slots. (see here
https://implyingrigged.info/wiki/Talk:/vt/_League_Academy_3) If you want to hop on that train and try managing a team, it's a good chance. If that's too much but you still want to take care for the team, I'd highly appreciate that. In that can I can offer myself as mentor and helper. You would not be alone. Just join
Discord and contact me or join the /vt/ League's server and say you want to caretake /okfams/. I guess everything else will find it's way then. You can start exploring here:
