I don't really watch the rest, but Kanade's arc sounds like that one manga about the sweet girl becoming a teasing bully to the boy she likes, only for that boy to go full volcel and dedicate his life to making the girl cry. I hope it doesn't go that route, Kanade'd be an ugly crier, it'd be pretty terrible to watch her breakdown.
