the problem with discord servers and even twitch chat is that people don't want to talk to eachother at all, to the point where no sense of community is formed because everyone wants to be the streamers friend instead of going "hey, i saw that guy in my oshi's chat, i should talk to him". i watch a regular streamer and admittedly he's been streaming for 4+ years so he's been around for a while but most of the people that are there hang out in there because they like the atmosphere and stream, not because they're biding their time to groom
chuubas should incentivize community hangouts and try to gatekeep their community a bit so people don't feel like they're sharing a server with randoms that haven't watched a second of the stream
