Posting cutely is an active shitposting deterent. A shitposter will rarely if ever attempt to debate a topic with a cuteposter, they will simply call them gay, which nobody cares about.
Insulting a typing style is not taking away from the discussion of a topic by posting missinformation or anything that can actually ruin a thread. And so, funneling a fool that enters a thread wanting to argue and cause problems (instead of talking about the topic of the thread) into doing that improves threads by effectively having a shitposter neuter themselves.
