>>6325961>Ayamy tanked because Devs didn't interfere in her price when she got banned.>But Marine can be saved by dev intervention so that ACTUAL players don't get Ultra Bogged.I'm outraged. Furious. Completely buttblasted. Incoherently mad. I'm so angry I'm going to make Kiara antis look like a bunch of fucking tree-hugging hippies.
Nah it's fine she's worth this price anyway.Bogration might be a little overaggressive, but I couldn't tell you what could be done to solve it other than turning it down and hoping for the best.
Another anon had a good point, though, you should probably tell us in advance when you intend to intervene on a coin's price. Honk jumping in to tell us about Marine is pretty much the perfect scenario, and that was much appreciated.
Let me get my game design soapbox here for a moment and clarify like 80% of the problems that people have. The chief #1 complaint with just about any game's design is "I expected X because the game made me expect X and then the game gave me Y what the fuck devs". The core of peoples' issues with Bogration isn't that it's reducing value in the market, it's that it doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense on our end.
Expectation:
>Oh man, [Channel] got 23k views after a couple good days of streaming at 18k and 20k. I should buy because the price will go up.>Price adjusts up, Anon makes money, spends it all on Rrat Ogey Legends or something.Recent Reality:
>Oh man, [Channel] got 23k views after streaming 18k and 20k the two days previous. I should buy because price will go up.>Price adjusts down. Haato somehow gains $1.1k despite not streaming for a month. Anon loses money, shitposts zhonk, posts pink wojacks in thread, calls everyone a jew, and quits the game after posting a link on Reddit with the captcha answers.People
very much including me are mad because they see Coco graduate and dive to 4k in 2 weeks, but then they turn their head and Haato goes UP despite having not streamed for LONGER. This is a logic disconnect between the expectation the game has set and the reality the player experiences. To solve this you either educate the player on what exactly is causing Y to happen instead of X (fixing expectation), or you make X and Y match (fixing reality).
seriously, please explain Haato to me like I'm retarded because it makes no sense. I know you said "we don't want to punish people holding", but that should just mean she crabs and adjusts slightly, not having huge % spikes for existing.
