Very much agreed though.
To me it sort of shakes out the same way it does with other things; Don't Break. Containment. Don't bring up unrelated things. Don't expect one social environment to be universal.
Reddit is great for tech stuff. Nobody's going to give you the level of insight into builds and news as Reddit.
Discord's good for a nice shot at interaction with people you'd otherwise not run into.
Twitter's a good way to get art & quick exchanges (such as shouting at streamers or companies).
4chan's nice for raw unfiltered miscellaneous content and a mix of cutting edge and purely wrong discussion.
As long as you conform and don't feel like one thing has to be like the rest you're fine. You don't talk about being a woman on 4chan. You don't talk about why you think Tasha's Cauldron added absolutely nothing of worth on Reddit. It's just that easy.
