>>35837559I think she just expects certain tropes because she's Japanese and Code Geass sets up character flags really well. Plus I think at this point Subaru assumes the worst in every situation in these kind of titles, immediately noticing death flags and being alarmed by carefree music and such. Some of the things took her a bit long to notice like Suzaku's black attire in the ending but I think her experience is enough to follow such a title through, I think it's also commendable that she rewatched that episode just to get things straight. All in all I'm really satisfied in how invested she got in such a fast paced drama.
With how empathetic she is I think I understand why people want to see her titles where character drama is in front and you can't help but root for all of them like Uma Musume or Rozen Maiden. But I think there's a few titles she'd enjoy that wouldn't make good watchalongs in terms of passionate reactions. Or maybe I'm just too used to high octane stuff like Geass and TTGL being the default.
