Strive is the best starting point ever since the inputs, universal mechanics and characters are simple, also rollback, but if you don't like it you can go back to Xrd, which is a little less beginner friendly, or +R, which is not beginner friendly at all.
Melty Blood Type Lumina is now an actually good game, but you will need a wired connection for rollback to work
Resources vary, but dustloop is usually good for GG
