We all saw the sharp contrast between how frequently Kanata and Marine used to interact to then basically never talking, even though both of them are in similar friend groups and holo projects (witches). We know that Kanata had flirty interactions with Ao, who Marine then obv got jealous over. Ao then gets fired after Kanata’s decision to quit is made, and then Kanata quits.
