She's doing the "hehe people ALWAYS complain about new stuff ergo no the past is never better" which like saying that just because one thing didn't kill you before it can never kill you.
She's also going for the "haha people adapt to the times" shit not realizing that in the last years technology has exponentially accelerated, in 1900 we invented airplanes, in in the 1960 they got to space, in 1984 we got the first mac computer and in 2022 we already have super computers on all our pockets.
AI only started taking off recently and it's already starting to go insane.
When humans went from riding horses to driving cars some people could move from taking care of horses to taking care of cars but with AI and robotics there's not gonna be a real transfer of stuff people do, it's all just going to end automated, if you aren't some scientist or engineer you won't have much to do left.
The trucks will drive themselves, the toilets will be cleaned by robots, the art will be computer generated, food will be prepared by robots.
She's also missing how some new technology has changed behavior on a massive level.
The printing press revolutionized human society and the internet and AI are doing it too but going from a bunch of monkeys to suddenly having books is less of a leap than what we're undergoing now.
