>>64789838It's a darker and grittier reimagining of an Asto Boy story by Osamu Tezuka. It takes place in a future where sentient robots are commonplace and have many of the same rights that humans have. They can even get married and have families via adoption.
The main character is a robot detective named Geseicht working for Europol (basically like Interpol but only for European nations), investigating the murders of both humans and robots where victims have random items placed next to their heads to make it look like they have horns, which is why they nickname the killer "Pluto", after the Roman god of the underworld.
What makes the case stand out, though, is that the evidence suggests that the murders were committed by a robot and while it's possible for robots to kill other robots, their programming is supposed to make it impossible to kill humans. Also, the first of said robots being killed happens to be one of the seven strongest robots in the world, which implies that the others are in danger of being killed as well.
