I know I had this conversation days ago with someone with a similar question, but something like Under Night is an excellent example of this. Yuzu's design (picrel) is markedly visibly striking for many ways, but is also very, very simple when you look at it component-by-component. I'd honestly say the haori she wears over her shoulders simply having a floral trim that matches her hair is enough to bring a lot out of what would otherwise be a really, really simple design framework.
