I can think of a few moments it did happen but not as recent as Valentine's day, didn't watch it I don't know about those twitter DMs, if those are real of course that sounds retarded from the sender and should be an easy block.
It was more around after her come back from the hospital, up until early January, where she regularly had her moment about "those people"
I remember for example precisely one time Kitanya was saying how people always said the same thing either about model or about wanting VODs back and stuff, adding that if they didn't like what she did she could just go watch another vtuber instead of complaining and that it was annoying see this regularly.
But while chat agreed as usual, some people mentioned the case where people make such comments but not directed at the vtuber, simply talk about their hobby with other people, outside of the vtuber personal's space, like you could do for any other entertainment. Well obviously thought of 4chan but said "vtubing forums" instead, however she actually it saying "but I don't think I'm discussed anywhere else on Internet? reddit maybe? I don't remember seeing such talks there... only the places I know discuss about me" I forgot the exact phrasing but honestly even though I knew she was aware of the board for other reasons it really felt like confirmation.
It's really not a tragedy, but the way some people get so defensive here make it worse every time.
