I think it all comes down to how you let things affect you. If you lack self-awareness and are incapable of introspection, you'll end up a seething menhera mess getting mad/jealous over nothing at all.
Take the twitter response thing. Rather than getting depressed over not getting a response, I simply had a fucking blast reading all of the shit they said.
