>>79228380Even if the ignore the fact that VSPO EN has no momentum to begin with, this is basically the worst case scenario for any vtuber company. Worse than confirmed bullying, worse than stealing money from the vtubers, worse than Ctubers, worse than an entire group fighting back publicly and retiring, worse than an incident incapacitating a majority of the company for months, worse than doxxing their talents, hell I'd even say it's worse than if someone were to die barring an in-house murder. Doxxing every single person who has ever applied to you and having that number be in the 5 digits is absolutely and completely horrific. Even if we ignore the fact that not every single person put in their addresses and that it might only be 500 people, a full name + prefecture + phone number is more than enough to bring danger to people for a list that is almost assuredly already circulating. These people might not ever see any consequences from Brave's fuckup, but they're going to live for a very long time in fear that they will. Especially if some of these people are already content creators which surprise! I'd wager at least a couple hundred people are! And now their careers are flat out over should their names be tied to their online life, and god fucking forbid they have antis.
I can and will say this with confidence: this is among the very top of the worst incidents in vtubing history, bar fucking none. There is absolutely ZERO chance this does not severely fuck with all of the companies plans. I pray from the bottom of my heart that their girls are all safe and weren't affected by this breach but more importantly that there's no streamers in that list who won't be shanked by a schizophrenic unicorn by the end of next month as a result of this list cracking the last piece of the code for them.
