It's basically just the idea that I don't want to tempt fate by saying something I shouldn't. Im gonna guess playing and watching a ton of sports growing up was what instilled the feeling inside of me, but I have no way to know for sure. It's kinda like when people on here post things like "She's been live for 4 hours" and then she immediately turns around and ends stream. Realistically that post has no effect on her stream length, but the superstitious side of things has a little feeling in the back of your mind that wonders if it actually did, even if you know it didn't. Almost like a shitty lite version of recency bias, which I think pretty much everyone experiences
