I would say her gripe was less about Anycolor specifically and more about working for a Japanese company. Because a lot of the differences are simply cultural. It's abnormal or even seen as unprofessional for talent to have a say in their own merch release schedule in Japan. Stepping on your manager's toes by being "too involved" pisses off the salarymen who need to justify their job. Meanwhile that kind of work ethic is rewarded in the West. It's just a cultural shock really.
