There was an attempted attack on her family's farm about a year ago, but apparently that was some people they knew who just wanted them hurt and/or dead specifically rather than taking their land. Apparently SA law is very specific about what qualifies as a raid. Her brother took a bullet and they've been more seriously considering getting out of SA since then.
