I wouldn't be surprised if they reached out in private, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Doki actively wants to avoid anything like this from blowing back on anyone, especially if they're already in hot water with people. There's really nobody to blame here for believing in selen but not zaion, and that just makes everything sadder.
