It's just that they used to call themselves Brides of the Emperor, and the Pope equivalents of 40k tried to argue that the Brides should be their concubines because 'lol we speak for Him'. So the Brides wasted those Popes and changed their name to Sisters of Battle. They can have relationships with anyone they want, same as Space Marines. Some practise celibacy because it's their Covent's culture, or because they're psykers and can't risk emotional instability.
