If you're trying to make clips instead of clipping while watching a VOD try watching a vtuber VOD first, and then jotting down on a notepad the timestamp of the general time in the VOD that you want to clip. Watch the VOD and repeat this process about 6 times. Then start clipping your favorite vtuber. Good luck!
If your favorite vtuber starts deleting your clips, or insulting you as a clipper after you've done this then sorry. Not all vtubers are like that, but after word gets out that you're a bad clipper it's probably better you refrain from clipping until you find a vtuber who specifically wants you as a clipper to clip them.
