It's probably a bit generic, but I think that doubling down on error correction has helped me a lot with not deciding to kill myself over pictures of anime girls. I've been focusing moreso on finishing work instead of being faithful to the mental visual. As a shitter, it only makes sense that I'll produce shit as a default until I learn more, so I don't bother feeling frustrated. Even if that's true however, it's not like there isn't a lot to extrapolate from a bad drawing, and so I feel better by doing that after finishing mine - and having pages finished means concrete material to see how real-world skill differs from the mentally generated work instead of spending a lot of time on rote mimicry. Sorry if that's nonsense.
