before i really got into her i just thought she looked cute, she definitely had my favorite design in hololive; her model was kinda stiff but who cares in the end. i also remember hearing comet and thinking it was okay, but it's definitely not one of my favorite songs by any means (and still isn't
except for the midnight jazz arrange, unironically her best song).
she kinda fell off my radar until she released GHOST and i thought it was REALLY fucking good, so i felt like checking if she had released any other songs between comet and GHOST and lo and behold she also had fucking bangers in tenkyuu and NCP. her voice is fucking amazing holy shit. this is when i decide to check her karaokes where i just fell even harder. i was a sucker for karaoke streams in general so it was only a matter of time for me.
this is also when i realize she's a fucking goofball. i was very familiar with her tryhard nature and all but i had never actually seen how much she doesn't take herself so seriously and likes having fun, ironically (that stream where she doesn't know the lyrics to mori's red and just goes mhnmnhmnhmhnmhnm prrra prrrra prrra is hilarious and also cute as shit). just watch her on any stream where she's on studio with another girl and she just starts dancing like a complete stiff idiot. by this point i had done the shittiest of japanese reps so i could understand small fragments of what she said (shamefully complemented with clips, of course) and she's actually funny as fuck, her delivery genuinely got me laughing constantly. she's not necessarily a natural born comedian like pekora or miko but she had a sense of humor that i feel is on a similar wavelength to mine. she also feels like a really genuine person and like a person who doesn't feel the need to do things she doesn't actually want to do just for the sake of appeasing people around her. i honestly don't know why a few people say the whole suichopath thing was overdone, it really never felt like something exaggerated for the clips or something. neither was the hi honey thing save for the one stream where chat asked her to say it and she did it a few times.
also her confidence is insanely fucking attractive, she's extremely cute when she wants to (latest example in her last short), she's super fun in collabs since she messes with everyone and is very easygoing, she's really kind to the ones she's close with, she's a tryhard but a good sport, and of course her music is just amazing and i have several of her songs in my main playlists. most of this was before i even learned about her backstory, which just made her all the more endearing to me; it's a genuinely inspiring story, and i love how she never forgot her roots nor lost herself for fame.
honestly i don't know at which precise point i started liking her so goddamn much but when i stopped to think about it, it was definitely her that i adored the most. i wish her nothing but success and hearty laughs.

obviously sort of outdated now that i've been losing my mind over her MGO concert, her second sololive (that DAISUKIIII lives rent free in my head), her second album (and debutante ball), her 5th anniversary concert, her TFT appearance, her journey to becoming the TWO-TIME in mario kart, and how she's been nothing but a sweetheart towards both her friends (hanging out with startend, shiraken, micomet and lately other holomem and how good of a collab partner she's been) and her fanbase with those shorts, members content and just more frequent displays of affection.
