(Very) Recent happenings:
>ID VTuber scene continues to incline>KOBO'S YOUTUBE CHANNEL GOT FUCKING SUSPENDED AGAIN>Several accounts with sensitive usernames spammed VTubers with sensitive comments (and very recently, donations), causing YouTube's system to suspend the VTuber's account. Mika Melatika, Kobo Kanaeru, and several Indo VTubers were victims of the spam, although some VTubers (including Mika and Kobo) got their accounts back. The perpetrator is unknown but the attack has slowed down.>Related to the spam, it is believed that chat overlay and donation overlay were the cause of YouTube suspending the VTubers. Sensitive comments and donations shown on the stream were treated as content from the streamer, not something sent by the perpetrator. Due to the threat imposed by the spam, several Indonesian VTubers cancelled their streams, set their chat to subscribers-only, or even members-only.
