So if you write say, Gura as a haughty loli, you'd still have to include that "humble/vulnerable" aspect of her personality which would mean she just acts haughty or she's haughty but she's super genuine about praise or whatever.
Aside from that, i feel like the best AUs are those that completely change the landscape and go to either fantastical settings, period pieces or even pure on sci fi because you can explore all these ideas with familiar faces
