For some reason asians are the only group that modern Germans aren't too cucked to be racist towards. I think being called Huns back in WWI did permanent damage to their collective psyche so now a lot of them overcompensate by being extra racist towards anything asiatic.
But let's be real, it was probably modern "Germans". Those ethnicities are all also extremely racist towards east asians.
