Like, obviously hiring a talent right off the back as a full time employee doesn't make sense... but high performers should definitely get legal protections and some basic rights.
The whole business relationship is largely detrimental to the talents (workers) themselves. so I don't know why we shouldn't demand better protections for them. When the eventual squeezing of rocks comes, the talents are going to suffer the most because of this model. But the talents are all that we're here for?
