Eat dairy before bed (it will induce nightmares but increases chances of dreams)
When lucid dreaming let the dream guide you, focusing too hard on that you're dreaming will wake you up
While awake bring your focus to the thing you want to dream about, if it's not on your mind at a subconscious level you wont dream about it
