This is usually how licencing fuckups transpire. Maybe Selen was just fed up and didn't stop the premiere to send a signal to management. Maybe Niji made her think she had perms and forgot to update her until after the premiere. It's not like you can't imagine them being this incompetent if they can't even send out NDA notices that are addressed at the correct person.
