You know HoloEN auditions were a big event right? How Coco was hyping up the auditions, how every JP knew that ENs were being recruited, and how they would eventually release an EN branch.
The StarsEN audition tweet was a fucking afterthought btw. They never exclusively stated that it was for Holostars, they never told their JP counterparts that they were going to debut an EN Holostars branch.

Someone from higher up obviously put a stop to that which is why their branding remained as Holostars, but it was QUITE obvious that there were elements within EN management trying to make HoloEN a mixed gender branch, with or without the consent of Holostars management.
