This implies fear of something bad happening to you in a place you deem safe, but more than that, a place you find fun and derive joy from. Next is Wemi and Airi being the ones kidnapped. They are generally considered more innocent as you implied but it doesn't have to do with your loss of innocence but rather fear of losing something you don't feel can defend itself. Resulting in a sense of failure to protect things important to you. And as you said it all happening in front of you as you're powerless to do anything about it is a feeling of lack of control.
My suggestion is to release yourself from the need to feel in control through meditation. And to spend more time cherishing things you find important in life.
