>>83945952When a build only mentions one non-main weapon, it automatically means you run with the weapon limit. The reason being, collabs and weapons in general are very level-intensive. A super collab is worth 17 levels. That's A LOT of level-ups you could spend on stats.
Whether you're running stage mode or pushing for high scores in endless also matters.
Pic-related is the meta build for leaderboard runs. Lots of choices in that build are informed by the fact that your runs only truly begins when YAGOOs spawn. Most of the choices are some sort of utility. The build is intensely level-hungry and you need to do specific counter-intuitive stuff. The bottom line is, item slots are the most valuable resource in the game. Items that only give you a linear increase in offense are below rate. Halu and Glasses give you better than linear scaling (more exp = more levels = more stat upgrades).
All of that kinda stops being relevant in Stage Mode. The run is too short to afford lots of collabs. Your baseline is Glasses + Halu (pray you get both early). Everything else is sort of optional. Main weapon only runs suddenly look much more appealing because you don't need the utility most of the collabs are being taken after. Chances are, you don't have gachikoi yet so collab-heavy builds just don't really work. If you prioritize movement speed when stat upgrading, you can just circle kite mobs, don't even have to kill them to clear the stage. If you're playing something like mono weapon Suisei (she's melee) and struggling to kill elusive bosses like Gura in S3 hard, just keep the Marking Stamp around on the stage and equip it when bosses spawn (you can drop and switch stamps).
