If your art looks like shit to you, that's a good thing. It means you understand that it's bad, so you can do better. With practice you'll get better at figuring out why it's bad, and how you can improve it and with even more practice you'll get better at making art you can look at and not feel disappointed at.
The only way to get there though is to draw a fucking lot and study if you can.
